Glenn Lucas, age 69, of McKinney, Texas, passed away at his home. Glenn was born August 26, 1943, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, to Charley and Edith Mae Lucas. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He is survived by his wife, Beverly R. Lucas of McKinney, Texas; daughter, Lynn Chaffee and husband, Martin of Ft. Meade, Maryland; son, Steven Lucas and wife, Angela of Atenas, Costa Rica; grandchildren, Brittany, Alex, Flora, Maria, David, and Stephanie; siblings, Jim Lucas of Las Vegas, Nevada; Carolyn Cook of Columbia, South Carolina; Barbara Conrad of Raleigh, North Carolina; Allen Lucas of Charleston, South Carolina; and numerous other loving relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 28, 2012, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas with his son, Pastor Steve Lucas officiating. A remembrance gathering will be held at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen from 8:45 9:45 a.m., Friday prior to the service.
