Metro Atlanta Citadel Knob Sendoff

The Atlanta Citadel Club’s Knob Sendoff is an annual event designed to prepare incoming knobs and their families for the rigors of The Citadel, and it is a great opportunity for incoming cadets and their parents from the greater Atlanta area to network with alumni, senior school leadership, and their parent/cadet counterparts.

RSVPs made after June 24th will incur an additional $5 surcharge per person.

WHERE: American Legion Post 140 in Buckhead near Chastain Park (3905 Powers Ferry Rd NW, Atlanta, GA 30342)
DRESS: Business casual
COST: Price is $30 per attendee and will include salad, lunch, dessert, beverage, tax, and tip – provided by Williamson Brothers Barbeque.
***Incoming knobs and cadets in summer leave uniform will have their meal covered at no charge.***

SPEAKER: Guest speaker will be Lieutenant Colonel (U.S. Army, Retired) Tim Terese Class of ’97, who serves as the Army ROTC Battalion’s Senior Recruiting Operations Officer. As a Department of the Army civilian, LTC Terese is charged with overseeing all recruiting and scholarship coordination for the largest Army ROTC Program in the nation. He is an Army infantry officer, and has commanded troops from every level from Platoon to Battalion Command. His service includes multiple combat tours to Iraq and Afghanistan, and he serves as an elected member of the Citadel Alumni Association’s Board of Directors.
