William W. Alston Jr., 86, of Lumberton, NC, died Monday, Feb. 16, 2009. He was an Army veteran. Services: Funeral, 11 a.m. Thursday, visitation following burial, in Trinity Episcopal Church. Burial in Meadowbrook Cemetery. Survived by: Wife, Betsy; children, Anna Steelman and George; sister, Mrs. Raymond Walters; four grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
