W. Judson Thomason Laurens William Judson Thomason, 63, of 703 Parkview Drive, husband of Joanne Waldrep Thomason, passed away Saturday, Jan. 14, 2006, in Largo, Fla. Born in Laurens, he was a son of the late William McCuen and Carrie Mae George Thomason. Mr. Thomason was a member of Laurens First Methodist Church and served our country during the Vietnam War as a 1st Lieutenant. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are two daughters, Kathryn Adikes and husband, Robert K. Jr., of Largo, Fla., and Caroline Bland and husband, Charles, of Irmo a brother, George McCuen Thomason of Ruston, La. a sister, Emma Katherine Ballenger of Richmond, Va. and five grandchildren, Kirk, Caroline, and Elizabeth Adikes, and McCuen and Yates Bland. A memorial service will be 11:15 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2006, at First United Methodist Church, conducted by Revs. Bill Rogers and Bill Vines. The committal will be prior to the service at 10:30 a.m. in Westview Memorial Park with Military honors. The family will be at the residence, and will receive friends after the memorial service in the church.
