Mr. William Delleney Griffin Sr., 66, of 3139 U.S. 21 Bypass died Wednesday, July 20, 2005, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill. A memorial service will be noon Saturday at Philadelphia United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Kathy James officiating. Masonic rites will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the church fellowship hall. Burial will be private. A native of Fort Mill, Mr. Griffin was a son of the late W.R. Griffin and Lucy Delleney Griffin. He was the former owner of Creative Printing in Fort Mill and Leisure Time Rentals in Myrtle Beach. He was a member of Philadelphia United Methodist Church, a Mason and a member of Catawba Lodge 56. He was past district deputy of the Grand Lodge of South Carolina and was a graduate of the Citadel College. Surviving are his wife, Ronnie McMehan Griffin; two sons, William Delleney Jr. and Johnathan Andrew Griffin, both of Fort Mill; and three grandchildren. The family will receive friends after the Masonic rites. Memorials may be made to Philadelphia United Methodist Church , 1691 Highway 160 West, Fort Mill, SC 29715.
