ROLLINGS, JR., Wilbur SUMTER, SC – Wilbur Weeks Rollings, Jr., age 89, beloved husband of 58 years to Wilhelmina Fogle Rollings died Friday, November 11, 2005, at NHC Healthcare of Sumter. Mr. Rollings was born in Pinewood, SC, the son of the late Wilbur Weeks Rollings, Sr., and Jessie Owens Rollings. He was a member of the Pinewood United Methodist Church. He attended Duke University and graduated from the University of Texas. He received his Master’s degree from the Citadel. He worked for Dawson Engineering as an accountant. He was a member of the Society of Colonial Wars, Charleston Historic Society, Charleston Library Society, Life Master with the American Contract Bridge League. Survivors in addition to his wife are: a niece, Elizabeth Cookie Rollings Jenkinson of Pinewood; a nephew, Dr. Raymond S. Rollings, Jr., of Beaufort, SC, and a cousin Kelly Rollings of Tucson, AZ. He was preceded in death by a brother, Raymond S. Rollings, Sr. Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m., Sunday, November 13, 2005, at Pinewood Cemetery with the Rev. Emily Allen officiating.
