Sebastian David DeModica, of Charleston, passed away on March 26, 2022. He was born on July 4, 1956 in Augusta, Georgia to Norma Grace and Sebastian Anthony DeModica. He was a graduate of The Citadel Class of 1978. Sebastian was an enthusiastic volunteer for several environmental causes, including Green Hearts, Water Keepers, Keep Charleston Beautiful, and was active in his local community garden. He was once employed by Compusult of Charleston, and also worked for the renowned Charleston artist, John Carroll Doyle. He will be remembered fondly and mourned by many friends and fellow volunteers. He asked to be remembered in their prayers and to live always in their hearts. He wished to thank MSAHospice for their care, his neighbors on Enston Avenue for their many years of friendship, and his Citadel Classmates for their constant loyalty and kindness over the years. He is survived by his aunt and uncle, Bob and Glenice Young of North Augusta; and his sister, Alicia Nix of Evans, Georgia; and Sylvia, his companion of 32 years, of Charleston. “We will meet again, when our spirits are dancing in the wind.”
