Samuel C. Littlepage, 85, of Findlay, Ohio, passed away at his residence on Monday, January 12, 2025. He was born in Ft. Worth, Texas on December 2, 1940 to the late Samuel C. and Easter O. (Leatherwood) Littlepage. On April 6, 1968 he married Nancy Allen who survives in Findlay.
Survivors also include his daughter, Erika Carol (Jeffrey) Oates, his granddaughter, Casey Erin Oates, a sister, Susan Carol Littlepage and a sister-in-law, Megan Nichols. Preceding him in death were his parents, a daughter, Kimberly Ann Littlepage, and a brother, Dr. Gary Littlepage.
Samuel received his undergraduate degree from the Citadel and graduate degree from Ball State. He was a professor of Physics at the University of Findlay from 1972-2002. His hobbies included research, writing, and teaching theology, guitar making, furniture making, book making, and poetry. He enjoyed visual arts, and the history of World War II. Samuel was also a member of the Gospel Fellowship Church, and the Guild of American Luthiers.
A memorial gathering will be held at the COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay on Tuesday, January 27, 2026 from 1-7 pm. Memorial contributions may be directed to the City Mission, or to CHOPIN Hall.
