Shadrack Richard Hendricks, Jr., of Powder Springs, Ga., died Sept. 9, 2021. was born on December 17, 1976 in Washington DC at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center to his parents Lillie Snell and Shadrack “Ricky” Hendricks,Sr. He graduated from Mauldin High School where he participated on the state championship cross country team along with accomplishing many accolades in track and field. Upon Completion of high school Richie received a track scholarship to further his education at The Citadel in Charleston, SC where he graduated with Honors. After graduation he focused on physical training and competed to become an IFBB Pro in Men’s Physique. He then went on to become an entrepreneur by opening and operating multiple businesses. In August of 2021 Richie accomplished one of his dreams by obtaining his private pilot license. He met his wife and married on October 24, 2013 and had the ceremony on November 17,2013. He loved her so much they married twice. He was lovingly known to her as Shad. He was an incredible, loving father and adored his children. Richie’s beautiful smile was contagious, his spirit and love for others overflowed. Whether it was a friend, classmate, employee, stranger or family member. He touched so many lives in so many ways and will truly be missed. Shadrack “Richie” “Shad” is survived by his wife Rejane Hendricks, Son Dallas Hendricks, Daughter Riley Hendricks and stepson Ramaj Waiters, his parents Lillie ( Gregory)Snell and Shadrack “Ricky” Hendricks Sr, sister Sheree (Orlando) Lewis, Godmother Mary(James) Williams, Godsisters Barbara Daniels and Paula Thornton, mother in law Maxie (Larry) Birch Moore, sister in laws Bianca Sexton Brown and Milan Moore, and many Nephews, Nieces Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
