Ronald Graham Entered into eternal rest the morning of Thursday, July 03, 2008, Ronald Wesley Graham. Residence, Goose Creek, South Carolina. The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald W. Graham are invited to attend the funeral service of the former at St. James United Methodist Church, 512 St. James Avenue, Goose Creek, SC, Monday, July 7, 2008 at ten o’clock. Interment will follow in Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday, July 6, 2008 at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road, N. Charleston from six until eight o’clock. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Citadel Foundation, 171 Moultrie Street, Charleston, SC 29409, the American Red Cross, Carolina Low Country Chapter, 8085 Rivers Avenue, Suite F, N. Charleston, SC 29406 or to a charity of one’s choice. Born August 29, 1947 in Mullins, South Carolina, Mr. Graham was the son of Coleman Daniel and Virgia Pete Hayes Graham. He was a member of St. James United Methodist Church where he served on various committees. Mr. Graham was a 1969 graduate of the Citadel, a member of The Citadel Alumni Association, Charleston Exchange Club, the Charleston Rifle Club, Elks Lodge #242 and Charleston Evening Exchange Club. Mr. Graham retired from the SC Army National Guard as a Major. For many years he served Berkeley County as a school administrator at several local schools, Whitesville Elementary, Sangaree Intermediate, College Park Elementary and Hanahan Middle. He has also served as an Adjunct Professor at The Citadel in the education department. Mr. Graham enjoyed attending various sporting events and his newest hobby, playing golf. He also enjoyed participating in woodworking, traveling, sightseeing and spending time with family, especially his daughter and friends. Ronnie never met a stranger, always had a smile on his face and a joke to tell. He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends. Surviving Mr. Graham are his wife: Toni P. Graham of Goose Creek; daughter: Jennifer G. Rodgers and her husband Cory A. Rodgers of Greer, SC; brother: Tommy Graham of Russellville, SC.
