Ronald Teddy Bastian Jr., of North Charleston, passed away on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at 55. A proud Army veteran and Citadel graduate, Ronald earned the respect of all who worked with and for him throughout his career with Comcast and Boeing. A man with an unwavering moral compass, he touched the hearts and minds of so many, and developed lifelong friendships in every job he worked and every city he lived. Known for his unrivaled humor and quick wit, Ron was always the center of attention and known for making anyone laugh at any given time. He had a knack for bringing out the best in people, because they knew he was always going to give them his best. The world would be a better place with more people like him in it.
Woodworking, traveling, reading, watching movies, and being with friends were some of his favorite ways to spend time, but most of all he adored spending it with his family. After 31 years he was still madly in love with his wife, and their relationship was envied by all. Ronald is survived by his wife, Stephanie; his son,Trip; his daughter, Marie; his father, Teddy Bastian; his more charming, funnier, and better-looking younger brother, Douglas (Kristin); and lots of extended family.
