Ronald L. Larson, of Sedona, AZ, died April 25, 2015. He was born in Chicago on June 17, 1932, attended Carl Schurz High School. He was a proud graduate of The Citadel in Charleston, South Carolina, class of 1954. After graduation he served two years in the US Army. While in the Army he met the love of his life, Marilyn Rison. They were happily married for 57 years. Ron had a dedicated forty-three year career at Charles E. Larson & Sons, a family owned and operated company started by his Swedish grandfather. In 1997, Ron retired as the company’s president.
Ron died peacefully in his sleep after fighting a long, brave battle with prostate cancer.
He is survived by his adoring wife, Marilyn, and their three children; Lauree (Ellis) Harrison, Leslie (Marvin) Baker and Scott (Hillary) Larson.
Ron was preceded in death by his first grandson, Matthew Sladek. He was a beloved grandfather to Charles Sladek, Sarah, Emily and Joshua Baker and Johnathan and Cooper Larson
