Dr. Robin Terry Hungerford, 64, husband of Anne Lackey Hungerford entered into eternal rest on November 3, 2012 in Alpharetta, Georgia. Dr. Hungerford, the son of William T. Hungerford and Elizabeth H. Hungerford was born on May 22, 1948 in Baltimore, Maryland. He graduated from Calvert Hall College High School in Towson, Maryland in 1966 and The Citadel in Charleston, South Carolina Class of 1970. He earned his PhD in Pharmacology at the Medical University of South Carolina and became Assistant Professor of Pharmacology at MUSC. In 1985, he left academics and entered into the business field as an IT Consultant. A lifelong Episcopalian, he was a member of The Church of the Holy Communion in Charleston, South Carolina where he served on the Vestry. Since 1986, he was a member of St. David’s Episcopal Church in Roswell, Georgia serving on the Vestry and as a Verger, Lay Eucharistic Minister and, Lay Reader. He was predeceased by his parents and sister, Judy H. Chandler. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Anne Lackey Hungerford, his children Ellen T. Hungerford, Claire H. Kinser (Jason), Stephen T. Hungerford (Amanda), and grandchildren William Kinser and Caroline Kinser.
