Funeral services for Mr. Richard L. Barrow Sr., 70, of Courtney Drive, North Augusta, who died July 11, 2003, will be conducted Monday morning at 11 oclock from the Stephen D. Posey Funeral Home. Rev. Robert H. Ledbetter officiating. Interment in Westview Memorial Park. Mr. Barrow was a native of Augusta, having made North Augusta his home for the past 32 years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of North Augusta, a U.S. Army veteran, a former North Augusta Little League Football Coach, a retired salesman and a graduate of the Citadel. Survivors include his wife, Virginia Hogan Barrow; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Richard L. and Karen Barrow Jr., Baltimore, Md., and John Travis Barrow, Augusta; a daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Richard Bush, North Augusta; a brother, George Barrow, North Augusta; and four grandchildren, Richard Bush, John Bush, Gregory Bush, and Ryan Barrow. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday afternoon from 4 to 6 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Richard Barrow Memorial Football Scholarship Fund, 118 Coventry Circle, North Augusta, S.C. 29860.
