Ramon E. Alonso, of Orlando, Fla., died Jan. 30. He served 10 years as a pilot in the U.S. Air Force, flying WB-50 weather reconnaissance and KC-135 tanker aircraft. Upon leaving the Air Force, he enrolled in the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy. Afterward, he was employed by the IBEC Housing Corporation and was charged with developing housing in Puerto Rico and the Caribbean. He later worked as a builder/developer in Georgia, Florida, Colorado and Arizona. Alonso is survived by his wife, Genie K. Alonso, Orlando, Fla. ; three children and 10 grandchildren. Tags: 1957
