Peter A. Ziman, of Charleston, entered into eternal rest on the evening of June 10, 2009, Peter A. Ziman, husband of Muriel “Bubbles” Berendt Ziman. Residence, Charleston, SC. The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Alvin Ziman are invited to attend the funeral services of the former, Friday, June 12, 2009 at ten o’clock at the graveside in Brith Sholom Beth Israel Cemetery, (Maryville). Mr. Ziman was born August 30, 1928 in Valley Stream, New York, the son of Charles David Ziman and Selma Ziman Baumann. He was a graduate of Riverside Military Academy and The Citadel, Class of 1949. He served as 1st Lieutenant with the United States Air Force during Korea. Mr. Ziman was a member of Brith Sholom Beth Israel Synagogue, SC Realtors Association, and a one time member of the Citadel Brigadier Club. He was an avid golfer and one of the founding members of Snee Farm Country Club. Mr. Ziman was a Commercial Real Estate Broker. He is survived by his wife of fifty-nine years; two sons, Mark Ziman of Israel and Kevin Ziman of Charleston, SC; one daughter, Susan Ziman of Charleston, SC; one sister, Joyce Simpson of Port St. Lucie, FL; six grandchildren and one great grandchild.
