  • This week, members of The Citadel Class of 2027 were sized for their class rings, marking an important milestone in their progress toward wearing The Ring. Cadets will briefly see their rings in April to confirm fit and engraving; however, rings will not be received or worn until Parents Weekend in October.

Important notice for parents and guardians of the Classes of 2028 and 2029: The Citadel Ring is a significant financial investment, and costs are most likely to continue rising as the price of gold increases. We strongly encourage families to begin saving now. Waiting until your cadet’s junior year can make this expense much more difficult to manage. Planning ahead will help ensure your cadet is able to participate fully in this beloved tradition.
