P. Geoffrey Hammond, of Boca Raton, Fla., passed unexpectedly in his home, June 14th, 2017, at the age of 69. Born in Montclair, New Jersey in 1947, he attended and was part of the first graduating class of Mater Dei High School. The eldest of six children, he was an inspiration to everyone. In 1969, he was named the Top Air Force Cadet in the Nation. He graduated from the Citadel and continued on to become a captain in the Air Force. He furthered his business career by becoming Vice President of AT&T. With a Masters from Stanford, with Mensa, he and his wife started CSI International in 1989. Geoff met his soul mate in New Jersey giving her directions at some train tracks and have been inseparable ever since. Together, they enjoyed traveling the world, being on their boat, spending time with family, built and ran a business, adopted several dogs, and loved living life. Survivors include his loving wife Jayne, his children David, Todd, and Tara, a sibling to David, Patrick, Mary, Daniel, and Carol, and grandfather to Zachary, Ashley, Brittany, Alexis, and Blake, as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Geoff’s wake will take place at Menorah Gardens and Funeral Chapels 21100 West Griffin Road Southwest Ranches, Florida 33332 on Monday June 19th, 2017 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. The funeral will be held Tuesday June 20th, 2017 at 10:30am at the same location, with reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for a donation to The Make A Wish Foundation or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
