Niemann A. “Buddy” Terry, Jr., formerly of Moncks Corner SC, passed away at the Veteran’s Victory House, Monday morning, March 29, 2010. Buddy was born on January 4, 1920, the son of the late Niemann A. Terry, Sr. and Anne Margaret Terry. Buddy retired as manager of the Canterbury House in Charleston and as manager of Turner Outdoor Advertising. He graduated from the Citadel in 1940, was a member of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, and was a US Army Major during World War II. Surviving are his wife, Joan; three children, Leslie Hazzard (Harvey), David Terry (Vivian) and Julie Masty (Lee); five grandchildren, Scott Hazzard MAJ USAF, Terri Hazzard Weaver (Martin), Dr. Brianne Terry, Chris Terry (Alison), Bret Terry (Samantha), and two great-grandchildren, Noah Terry and Mackenzie Terry. A graveside service will be held at Magnolia Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 31, 2010.
