- Rosenblum served in both the Korean and Vietnam wars. He commanded the 24th Infantry Division, served as Deputy Chief of Staff for Training at the US Army Training and Doctrine Command and Deputy Commanding General of the XVIII Airborne Corps. Rosenblum retired as Commander U.S. 1st Army after 33 years of distinguished service.
- Rosenblum's military awards include the Legion of Merit with one bronze oak leaf cluster and the Bronze Star with V device and oak leaf cluster.
