Gen William O. Brice, USMC

- Brice received his fourth star at the end of a remarkable career in the Marine Corps, having served in World War I, World War II and Korea. He was the first 4-star general aviator in USMC history.
- During WWII, he commanded at every level of Marine Corps aviation, and in 1945 was promoted to Chief of Staff Air, Fleet Marine Force/ Pacific. Brice retired in 1956 as the Commanding General, Fleet Marine Forces/Pacific.
