  • Morris Robinson was born with two gifts: one was a combination of size and athleticism that resulted in an enormously talented football player who earned All-Southern Conference and Kodak All-American honors his senior year on a Citadel football team ranked # 20 in the nation in Div-1AA. The 2nd gift was a singing voice that has propelled him to be critically acclaimed as one of the very top bass opera singers in the world.
  • Morris was enjoying a successful career with Fortune 500 3M Corporation when he was "discovered" singing for a music program in Boston. Offered a scholarship to receive his first real vocal training, he was soon performing at the Metropolitan Opera, Carnegie Hall at La Scala in Milan, Italy, in Australia at the Sydney Opera House, and in leading roles in numerous other opera houses throughout the United States and internationally. Morris has served as an artistic advisor to the Cincinnati Opera, artist-in-residence for the Atlanta symphony Orchestra and Resident Artist at Harvard University. He was the first African-American artist to sign with a major classical record label. His life's story is as remarkable as is his stunningly powerful voice.
