Sam Sarkesian

Class of 1951

Retired from the US Army as Lt Col having served in Airborne/Special Forces/infantry units in Korea and Vietnam. Upon retirement his career took him into teaching (West Point & Loyola Univ Chicago) and his many publications focusing on civilian-military relations and National Security studies are widely distributed and taught. His writings on low-intensity warfare and the changing battlefield for the 21st Century have become staples of military doctrine studied in US Armed Forces professional schools.
