  • Cooper completed a 35 year distinguished Air Force career in 2018, His last assignment was Deputy Chief of Staff for Logistics, Engineering and Force Protection, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, Washington, D.C.  In this assignment, Cooper was responsible for leadership, management and integration of Air Force logistics readiness; aircraft, munitions, and missile maintenance; civil engineering; and security forces, as well as setting policy and preparing budget estimates to enable combat readiness and quality of life for Air Force people.  Cooper's military awards include the Distinguished Service Medal with oak leaf cluster, Legion of Merit with oak leaf cluster and Meritorious Service Medal with four oak leaf clusters.
  • After retiring from the Air Force in 2018, Cooper joined AAR, a leading aviation services provider to commercial and governments operators, as Senior Vice President of Global Government and Defense.
