James W. Cluck

After 41 years of military/civil service, Mr. James W. Cluck retired in 2013 as the Acquisition Executive for the U.S. Special Operations Command. In this position--one of extremely critical top-priority importance to the Nation--Mr. Cluck was responsible for equipping more than 63,000 Special Operations Forces (SOF) deployed in several active combat zones and 100-plus locations around the globe. \Equipping\ means everything from IT connectivity to munitions, aircraft, and vehicles, everything needed to maintain an effective global fighting force in the field capable of defeating any aggressor. His accomplishments are legendary and his awards for developing new programs, re-engineering old ones, and reforming outdated ones are far too numerous to record here. Additionally, Mr. Cluck created the training and re-integration program for SOF Wounded Warriors...one of his finest personal achievements.
