Recognized as one of the nations pre-eminent electrical engineers, he taught the subject for 49 years, published 19 textbooks as well as a volumninous number papers, theories and reports.In 1998 he assumed the prestigious position of the Sam Nunn Eminent Professor of Aerospace Engineering at Mercer College. He received the highly esteemed Hall of Fame award from the Institute of Electrical Engineers EMC Society in 2011.
