Bishop of the Diocese of Nicaragua and San Salvador S.A, Ass't. Bishop of the Diocese's of South Carolina. Elected to the prestigious position of Executive for the Episcopal Church's World Mission in Church and Society from 1983-1985, a cornerstone of the Episcopal Church in America. He was the great grandson of Cadet George Haynesworth credited with pulling the lanyard firing the first shot of The War Between The States on 9 Jan 1861.
