LUKOW, SR., Michael Michael John Lukow, Sr., 60, of Moncks Corner, SC, a former manager for Haverty’s, died Friday at his residence. The funeral will be 2:00 PM Sunday afternoon, Nov. 26, 2006, in the Cordesville First Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery. Friends may call at the church from 12:30 until the hour of service on SUNDAY. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Cordesville First Baptist Church, 1913 Highway 402, Moncks Corner, SC 29461. Directed by DIAL-MURRAY FUNERAL HOME, MONCKS CORNER. Mr. Lukow was born Dec. 28, 1945, in Bayonne, NJ, a son of William Lukow and Katheryn Kudryk Lukow. Mike was a 1967 graduate of The Citadel; he loved The Ring and what it stood for. He never forgot the many friends that he made while there. His favorite quote, and how he lived his life: Duty is the sublimest word in the English language. Robert E. Lee Mike retired from the furniture retail business after 30 years and was presently working part time as a merchandiser for Merchandise, Inc. He served in the National Guard during Vietnam. He attended the Cordesville First Baptist Church. He was a member of the Citadel Alumni Association. Surviving are, his wife of 38 years, Helen Brown Lukow; two sons, Michael John Lukow, Jr., and his wife, Michelle, of Cape Coral, FL, and William Edward Lukow and his wife, Courtney, of Atlanta, GA; two grandchildren, Noah Benjamin Lukow of Cape Coral and Carter Michael Lukow of Atlanta; a sister-in-law, Mary Lou Davis of Moncks Corner; and a brother-in-law, Henry E.
