GISH, Michael Michael Amedo Gish, 37, born March 12, 1968, passed away on Monday, November 7, 2005 in Orange Park, Florida. A memorial service will be held at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church on Saturday, November 19, at 10 a.m. in Orange Park. Michael was a graduate of Goose Creek High School, c/o 86. After graduation, he enlisted in the US Navy and soon was accepted into the officer training program. He attended the Citadel Military College where he excelled scholastically, graduated with the class of 1992 as the Regimental Executive Officer, and obtained a Bachelors of Science degree in Physics. After graduation, he accepted a commission in the US Navy and served as a lieutenant in the supply corps until 1999. He was very proud of his accomplishments at the Citadel and his service to his country and his memorial service will be carried out with full military honors. He is survived by his mother and father, Wenifreda and Jack Gish; brother, Glenn and his wife, Dulcie and brother Jack, both of Jacksonville, FL; his grandmother, Virginia Gish of Ft. Myers, FL; aunt and uncle, Jeff and Paula Gish of Alva, FL; and aunt and uncle, Greg and Carolyn of Jupiter, FL; and his cousins, Jason, Michelle, and Olivia.
