EASON, Martha Entered into eternal rest at her residence on Tuesday, February 10, 2004, Martha Lynn Eason. She was born in Charleston, S.C., the daughter of Herbert Clarence Eason, Jr., and Dorothy Irene Saul Eason on Saturday, February 5, 1949. Martha was a graduate of St. Andrews High School, Columbia College and received her Masters in Mathematics at The Citadel. She retired after 25 years as a teacher with the Charleston County School District. Martha taught at several area high schools as well as her alma mater, St. Andrews High School, and also tutored students. She was a member of St. Mark United Methodist Church and former member of the Metropolitan Civitan Club. Surviving are her parents, Herbert C. and Dorothy S. Eason of Charleston, a sister, Nancy E. Jones and her husband Edward of Holley, N.Y., a brother, Herbert C. Eason, III and his wife Marla, of Duluth, Ga., and an aunt, Nancy S. Lynn of Charleston and several nieces and nephews. The family of Martha L. Eason will receive friends at the JAMES A. MCALISTER FUNERAL HOME, 1620 SAVANNAH HWY., this Thursday between the hours of 5 and 7 p.m. The relatives and friends are invited to attend her committal service in Bethany Cemetery at 1:00 p.m., Friday February 13, 2004, and to attend her Memorial Service at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, February 15, 2004 at St. Mark United Methodist Church, 413 Geddes, Ave. The family requests memorials be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, S.C.
