Louis T. Brzezinski Jr., 76, of Johns Island, South Carolina, husband of Mary Lang Brzezinski, passed away on December 11, 2020. Services will be held at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery with full military honors.
Lou was born in Baltimore, the son of Louis Brzezinski and Margaret Kirwan Brzezinski. He was a graduate of The Citadel, class of 1965. He served in the US Army and did two tours in Vietnam, where he was injured during combat. He received both the Bronze Star and Purple Heart medals.
Lou earned a Master’s Degree in Secondary Education from Fresno State University. He went on to teach middle school in California and returned to Maryland where he taught for 29 years at Harper’s Choice Middle School in Columbia.
He is survived by his stepson, Major William J. Kimmins, United States Army. He was predeceased by his sister, Jayne Brzezinski Blazer and is survived by brothers Tom Brzezinski and CJ Brzezinski.
