Entered into eternal rest on April 9, 2003, Leonard C. Fulghum, III, husband of Marguerite (Martie) Arnau Fulghum. Residence, Mt. Pleasant, SC. The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard C. Fulghum, III are invited to attend the funeral services of the former, Friday, April 11, 2003 at ten thirty o clock, in Summerall Chapel, The Citadel. Interment, Magnolia Cemetery. Friends may call at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MT. PLEASANT CHAPEL Thursday evening between six and eight o clock. Mr. Fulghum, III was born August 24, 1954 in Wichita Falls, Texas, the son of Leonard C. Fulghum, Jr. and Jean Ferguson Fulghum. He was a graduate of The Citadel Class of 1977 and was a member of Mt. Pleasant Presbyterian Church. He was Executive Vice President of Ferguson Fulghum, Inc. Len belonged to various organizations which included: member and past president of St. Andrews Rotary Club, member of The Hibernian Society, Snee Farm Country Club, Executive Association of Greater Charleston, Executive Committee of Coastal Carolina Council Boy Scouts of America, Past Chairman of American Red Cross, Lowcountry Chapter, Member of the SC State Chamber of Commerce, Vice President of the International Golfing Fellowship of Rotary International and The Brigadier Club of Charleston. He is survived by his parents and his wife of Mt. Pleasant, SC; one daughter: Virginia (Ginny) Marguerite Fulghum of Mt. Pleasant, SC; one son: Leonard Chesley Fulghum, IV of Mt. Pleasant, SC; one brother: Kenneth S. Fulghum of Charleston, SC; one sister: Elizabeth F. Owens of Mt. Pleasant, SC and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
