ANDERSON, John John Michael Mike Anderson, 57, of 16 Whiffle Tree Drive, husband of Linda Meadors Anderson, died Monday, October 23, 2006 at his residence. Born in Greenville on December 1, 1948, he was a son of Jackie Orr Anderson Kemble of Greenville and the late Frank E. Anderson. Mr. Anderson was a 1967 graduate of Wade Hampton High School, attended The Citadel, was a 1970 graduate of Truett McConnell College, and was a graduate of Lander College, and Southeastern Trust School at Campbell University in Charleston. A 20-year resident of Charleston, he was a former stockbroker with Johnson Lane and was a former Trust Officer with South Carolina National Bank. He was currently employed as the manager of Classic Matboard Distribution Center. He was a member of the Greenville Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church and was a United States Navy Veteran. Mr. Anderson enjoyed restoring historic homes, vintage musical instruments and vintage cars. Surviving, in addition to his wife and mother, are a daughter, Elizabeth Anderson of Charleston; a brother, E. Russell Anderson of Greenville; and a nephew, Alex Anderson of Greenville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shriner’s Hospital, 950 W. Faris Road, Greenville, SC 29605. Graveside services will be held Friday, October 27, 2006 at 1:30 p.m. at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
