Jean Heinsohn, of Charleston, entered into eternal rest on the morning of August 3, 2009, Jean Heinsohn. Residence, Charleston, SC. The relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral services in St. Johannes Lutheran Church, Thursday, August 6, 2009 at ten-thirty o’clock. Interment, Bethany Cemetery. Miss Heinsohn was born December 30, 1938 in Charleston, SC, the daughter of Ernest W. Heinsohn and Louise Sander Heinsohn. She was a devoted lifelong member of St. Johannes Lutheran Church, where she was a member of the church choir, taught Sunday school and was a financial secretary. Miss Heinsohn was a graduate of North Charleston High School and M.U.S.C. School of Nursing, and received her master’s degree from The Citadel. She retired after 43 years as a registered nurse with MUSC. She is survived by one brother: Charles W. Heinsohn (Betty Ann) of Charleston, SC; one sister: Joyce Hunder (Richard) of Concord, Ohio; one aunt: Dorothy Sander Egonut of Charleston, SC; five nieces and nephews: Kathy Allison, Ernie Heinsohn, Chuck Heinsohn, Steven Hunder and Karen Wills; seven great nieces and nephews.
