Jack Murray Pausman, 82, of Denton, Texas passed away on June 22, 2023, in Denton. He was born in Petersburg, Virginia on January 24, 1941, to Harold and Molly Pausman.
Jack and his sisters were raised in Jacksonville, Florida where he graduated from Landon High School. He proudly attended The Citadel, class of ’63, in Charleston, South Carolina. After his service in the Air Force, he entered the financial services industry and had a successful career for over 50 years.
Jack and Karen met in Dallas and were happily married for 31 years. Jack was a talented musician and writer, having recently published his first novel. He really enjoyed telling a good story and made many friends with his outgoing personality. He was happiest enjoying the many successes of his children and grandchildren. Jack loved God and he loved life to the end. He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife, Karen Pausman of Denton, Texas, his daughter, Phyllis Kent of Paris, France, son, Jason Pausman, and his wife, Erika, of Portland, Maine, sister, Gloria Schulman, and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, and sister, Rochell Soloman.
A committal service will be held at the Dallas, Ft. Worth National Cemetery in Dallas, Texas on July 14, 2023 at 9:15 A.M.
