Gregory “Greg”, of Houston, Texas, passed away peacefully on August 8, 2021, at the age of 78. Born in Bay Shore, New York, he was the son of the late Robert and Jean Kasin of Islip, New York. He was predeceased by his wife Norine Kasin of Charlotte, NC, and older brother Lynn Kasin of LaGrangeville, NY. Greg attended Islip High School and graduated from The Citadel in Charleston, SC, class of 1966. Greg leaves behind his two sons Russ (Megan) of Missouri City, Texas, and Stuart (Leigh) Kasin of Charlotte, NC, and three grandchildren Cameron, Benjamin, and Shannon Kasin. Also survived by his sister Elizabeth Kasin Hubbard (Ken) of Tampa, FL, and his former wife, mother of his children, JoAnne Young Wells (Bill) of Southport, NC. Greg will be dearly missed. A memorial is set for October 16, 2021, on the Great South Bay.
