Funeral services for the Honorable George Lawrence Inabinet, 77, of Williston, SC will be held at three o’clock p.m., Friday, December 2, 2022 at the Williston First Baptist Church with Dr. Stephen Burnette officiating; burial will be in the Williston Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bill Frederick, Taylor Inabinet, Fate Wall, Kevin Wall, Parker Wall, and Michael Yelton. Honorary Pallbearers will be Eugene Abner, Horace Abner, Tom Boulware, Jerold Jernigan, Tommy Rivers, and Mickey Yelton. The family will receive friends from one-thirty until the time of the service at the church on Friday. Memorial contributions may be given to the Williston First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 365, Williston, SC 29853. Larry passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2022.
Born in Charleston, SC, he was a son of the late James A. Inabinet and Agnes Givens Inabinet. He was an active member of the Williston First Baptist Church where he served as chairman of the Finance Committee. He was a graduate of Williston-Elko High School, the Citadel and received his Juris Doctorate from the University of South Carolina. Larry served in the U. S. Army Reserve from 1967 to 1975. He was in private law practice for many years before being elected in 1983 as a Family Court Judge in the Second Judicial Circuit. Larry enjoyed fishing and fellowshipping with his family and friends, but he truly enjoyed spending time with his three grandsons.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Judith Bolen Inabinet; his children, George Lawrence “Beau” (Amy) Inabinet, Jr. and their son, Taylor of Mt. Pleasant, SC; Rachel (Jeremy) Wall and their sons, Parker and Fate of Williston, SC; two brothers, James Ronald “Ronnie” (Lynn) Inabinet of Williston, SC and William Douglas “Doug” Inabinet of Springfield, SC.
