Frank P. Anto passed away on June 29, 2009, after a short illness. Frank Pierre Anto, formerly of West Newton, died June 29, 2009, in Vero Beach, Fla. Born in Charleroi, Frank attended McKeesport High School, and went on to graduate from The Citadel and Dickinson College. He served as a 1st Lieutenant in the Army Air Force during World War II, and flew bombing missions as a navigator based in England. After the war ended, he graduated from Dickinson Law School and practiced law in West Newton for over 40 years. He was a member of the Westmoreland Bar Association and was a life member of the VFW. He retired from the practice of law in 1993, and he and his wife moved to Cape May Point, N.J., where he served as chairman of the Zoning Board. He enjoyed walking, traveling, playing bridge, and playing the piano. He moved to Vero Beach in 2007. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Nancy; his sister, Rachael, in Wynnewood, N.J.; two sons, David, in Ligonier, Pa., and Richard, in Lorton, Va.; and four grandchildren. Tags: 1945
