ROCKLEDGE — Frank Brooks Vincent, Jr.,81, passed away Thursday, January 23, 2003 at Wuesthoff Hospital. Born in Savannah, Georgia on February 23, 1921, he had also lived in Spartanburg, South Carolina, Atlanta and Thomaston, Georgia. He attended The Citadel in Charleston, South Carolina and served three years in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. Mr. Vincent spent most of his business career in banking and was a retired vice president of Barnett Bank ofCentral Florida. Mr. Vincent was a member of the Rockledge Presbyterian Church where he had served as an elder and church treasurer. He also served on other professional and philanthropic organizations’ boards, such as Friends of Scouting and president of the National Association of Accountants. He is survived by his wife, Gloria; his daughter, JuliaWilson; and granddaughter, Hillary Wilson. A memorial service will be held at the Rockledge Presbyterian Church on Saturday, February 1, at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Rockledge Presbyterian Church or to afavorite charity. Wylie-Baxley Rockledge Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
