Southeastern NC Citadel Club Cadet Sendoff

The Southeastern North Carolina Citadel Club (SENCCC), in partnership with The Citadel’s Office of Admission and The Citadel Alumni Association, will host the 2026 Cadet Sendoff Event (CSE) for new cadets and their families as they prepare for matriculation. The event is open to all Citadel alumni, parents, and friends of The Citadel who reside in Southeastern North Carolina. The CSE is one of our more important annual functions. The Citadel is a unique college experience with challenges and rewards that are different from other institutions. The CSE is an opportunity to welcome the new cadets and their parents to The Citadel Family; provide an informal atmosphere for incoming freshmen to interact with local cadet upperclassmen; ask questions and obtain advice on what to expect from cadets and alumni; and a venue for current cadets and their parents to interact with other cadets, families, and alumni.

Lunch will be available on a prix fixe menu for all attendees. Although the event includes a “no-host” luncheon the SENCCC will pick up the cost of the meals for the current cadets and incoming freshmen. SENCCC members may consider picking up the tab for a cadet(s) and/or incoming knob(s) on the day of the CSE. We are looking forward to welcoming the new cadets and their families to The Citadel family.
