David Hudson – JOHNSON CITY David Warner Hudson, 27, passed away on Thursday, December 13, 2007, at the Johnson City Medical Center. David is the son of Dr. Larry D. Hudson and Sandra L. Warner. A member of the Adat Achim synagogue, Mr. Hudson was a 1999 graduate of Science Hill High School and a 2003 graduate of The Citadel, where he was a member of the Summerall Guards. David was a co-owner of the Alley Kat restaurant in Johnson City. He was a very bright and athletic son who was very friendly, outgoing and who never met a stranger. David played varsity soccer at The Citadel and enjoyed snowboarding. In addition to his parents, Mr. Hudson is survived by his sister, Lea Christine Hudson, of Denver, Colorado; brother, John Paul Hudson, of Johnson City; paternal grandfather, Wilbur G. Hudson, of Columbus, GA; maternal grandfather, Woodrow W. Warner, of Johnson City; several cousins; special friends, Mark Katras, Scottie Willis, Brett Wilhoit, Landon Breeding, and his pet dog, Dino. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 16, 2007, at 3:00 P.M. in the Sunrise Chapel of Tetrick Funeral Services, with Rabbi Celso Cukierkorn officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 P.M. prior to the service. Internment will follow at Washington County Memory Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Scottie Willis, Mark Katras, Jonathan Harrigain, Brett Wilhoit, Brad Rosa, Landon Breeding, Greg Foster, John Paul Hudson and Brandon Kind.
