David S. Low peacefully and quietly pulled in his sails on Thursday, March 15, 2007 in Charleston, SC. He resided in Mt. Pleasant with his loving wife of over 30 years, Joan Wagner Low. He adored his sons, daughters-in-law and grandchildren — David S., Jr. and Alicia Low and their children, Joshua and Kristen of Mt. Pleasant, SC and Lonny C. and Shelly Low and their children, Jessica and Jennifer of Pagosa Springs, CO, his family, and his large extended family. He attended The Citadel and served with pride in the United States Air Force. After a distinguished broadcasting career in San Francisco, Cleveland, Albany, Washington, DC and Charleston, he was most recently President of Broadcast Incentives International, headquartered in Mt. Pleasant. He loved football, sailing, golf, tennis, flying, the arts and his numerous friends around the world. For David, all of life was an adventure, and he lived every moment to the fullest!!! A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the John Ancrum SPCA, 3861 Leeds Avenue, North Charleston, SC 29405 or your charity of choice.
