David C. Timbrook, Jr.,78, of The Villages, Florida died on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at The Villages Hospice House. He was born November 24, 1938, graduated from The Citadel in 1961, was married in 1962, and retired from PepsiCo/General Cinema as Marketing Director in 1989. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, softball and playing with his grandchildren. David was a member of New Covenant United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Eva Timbrook; his 4 children: Debra (Chuck) Whiteman, Michael (Nancy) Timbrook, Tamara Whetsel, and Paul (Natasha Timbrook); 13 Grand Children, 6 Great Grandchildren, and his sister Marilyn Gordon. Memorial Service A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at New Covenant United Methodist Church (3470 Woodridge Drive, The Villages FL 32162) Inurnment Inurnment to follow at the New Covenant United Methodist Church Columbarium. Memorial Donations In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Villages Hospice House (Cornerstone Hospice, 2445 Lane Park Rd., Tavares, FL 32778) in his name.
