Clyde “K” E. Kizziah Jr., of Salisbury, NC, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2018 at Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House in Salisbury. “K” was born July 4, 1931 and was a Salisbury native. He was the son of the late Clyde E. Kizziah Sr. and Dorothy Yancey Kizziah. He attended Boyden High School and graduated from The Citadel in 1953, and then served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was employed for many years by Holmes Investment Company, working side by side with his life long friend, Jimmy Hurley. “K” enjoyed music, photography, history, cooking, travel and he had a natural ability of navigation. (He truly needed no directions.) He is survived by those who loved him. His wife, Sarah Kizziah; daughter, Deborah Kizziah Gant; daughter, Barbara Lynn Singer; son, David O. Singer; daughter, Beth Singer Mack and her husband Stephen P. Mack; and grandchildren, Amanda Gant Smith and her husband Jimmy Smith, Andrew William Gant, Sarah Katherine Mack and Alan Philip Mack.He is also survived by his great-grandchildren, Naomi Chandler Smith and Asher James Smith. Service: The memorial service will be held at First Presbyterian Church, 308 W. Fisher St. Salisbury, on Monday, Feb. 19, 2018 at 2 p.m. A celebration of life reception will be held at the church immediately after the service.
