The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 1, at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home Chapel, Chesterfield. Interment will follow in Chesterfield Cemetery, Chesterfield. Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 1, at the funeral home prior to the service. Mr. Burch was born Jan. 7, 1928, in Chesterfield, a son of the late Clancy Bowman Burch Sr. and Eleanor Gainey Burch. He was a 1945 graduate of Chesterfield High School and a 1952 graduate of The Citadel. June was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, having served as a training film projectionist. He was a retired industrial engineer with Delta Mills with more than 30 years of service. Mr. Burch was a former member and Sunday school teacher at Chesterfield Baptist Church. After moving to Orangeburg, Clancy became a member of First Baptist Church of Orangeburg and the Couples Sunday School Class. June enjoyed gardening, yard work, and always loved having dogs around. In addition to his parents, June was also preceded in death by his first wife, Medelene Watson Burch, and a brother, John G. ³Jack² Burch. Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Rebecca Joan Lee Burch of the home; a son, Clancy ³Bow² Burch III of Chesterfield; a daughter, Margaret ³Meg² Burch Walker of Spartanburg; stepson Robin Donald Lee of Orangeburg; brother James W. ³Billy² (Gaye) Burch of Orangeburg; and sister-in-law, Margaret Jean R.
