Bryan L. Goodas, of Summerville, passed away the evening of May 2, 2018 unexpectedly. He is the loving son of Barbara and Bruce Goodas, and brother and best friend to Bruce. He also leaves behind his beloved dog Nucky, whom Bryan loved and cherished. He will be very much missed by his Aunt Patty, Uncle Arthur, Aunt Janice, and Uncle Steven. Bryan had a unique and special bond with his cousin Aurora. He also leaves behind his cousins Kimberly, Gerard, and Jason. Bryan will be very much missed by his extended family, Victoria Jensen, Barry Bregman, and the Bregman Family, close friends, and colleagues. Bryan was born in New Jersey and at the age of six moved to beautiful Oneonta, NY. He grew up there with his family, having a happy and wonderful childhood. He graduated from Oneonta High School in 2008, where both he and his brother were very active in baseball, bowling, and even becoming baseball umpires like their father. After high school, Bryan was proudly accepted by the Citadel and graduated in 2012 majoring in Political Science. He fell in love with South Carolina and decided to make it his home. He convinced his brother Bruce and girlfriend Tori to move here, where all them were living together as one loving and happy family. Bryan structured his career to be in politics. He was a political advisor and campaign manager. He was presently running for Berkley County Councilman. We were all so proud of his accomplishments. Bryan was a loving, caring, intelligent, quick witted young man. With a comical sense of humor, Bryan will always be missed and loved by his family, and all who knew him. Bryan was and will always be our bright and rising star.
