Brett M. Warren, 19, of 213 Foxhound Road, died Saturday, Sept. 10, 2005. Mr. Warren was born on Sept. 23, 1985, in Atlanta, Ga., to Reggie Dale Warren and Holly Ann Williams Warren. He was a sophomore in the Corps of Cadets at the Citadel, where he was a member of Lima Company. He played several sports in the Simpsonville Recreational Leagues, and played football and baseball on the Hillcrest High School Rams Team. He was a member of the Powderhorn Swim Team for nine years. Brett and his long-time girlfriend, Brenna, were voted Best All Around at Hillcrest High School upon graduation. He brought a smile to everyone, and truly recognized the good in all situations. He was a member of Holy Cross Episcopal Church and Trinity United Methodist Church. Surviving, in addition to his parents of the home, are a sister, Lindsey Warren of Simpsonville and her boyfriend, Henry McGee, of Greenville; paternal grandmother, Helen M. Warren of Mobile, Ala.; maternal grandfather, Jack P. Williams of Atlanta, Ga.; his girlfriend, Brenna Gault of Fountain Inn; an uncle, Kelly Williams and his wife, Julie, of Atlanta, Ga.; an aunt, Schira Benson and her husband, Ardie, of Atlanta, Ga.; four cousins, Luke, Ansley and Ben Williams, and Arden Benson; his beloved dogs, Ashley and Hannah; and a cat, Sebastian. He was predeceased by a grandfather, Bob Warren; and a grandmother, Louise Williams. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. this evening at Fletcher Funeral Service in Fountain Inn. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2005, at Simpsonville First Baptist Church, officiated by Father Mike Flanagan and Dr. Ray Litts. Burial will be in Cannon Memorial Park.
