SOLOMON, Anthony Anthony Solomon, 66, of Summerville, husband of Carolyn C. Chris Solomon, died Saturday, April 21, 2007, at Summerville Medical Center. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 25, 2007 at 4 o’clock at James A. Dyal Funeral Home Chapel, Summerville. Burial will follow in Dorchester Memory Gardens, 11000 Dorchester Road, Summerville. Visitation will be this evening from 6 until 8 o’clock at the funeral home. Mr. Solomon was born December 16, 1940 in Allentown, PA, son of the late George Michael Solomon and Anna Hanna Solomon. He was a graduate of Allentown High School in PA and attended Charleston Southern University and the Citadel. Mr. Solomon retired from the United States Navy after serving twenty years and was a Vietnam Vet. He was formerly employed at the Charleston Naval Shipyard where he worked for ten years. Mr. Solomon recently retired from Ft. Dorchester High School as a math teacher. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Frances Willis Chapter of the SPCA, PO Box 1116, Summerville, SC 29484. Survivors including his wife are two brothers; George Solomon, Jr. of Derry, NH and James Solomon of Quakertown, PA and one sister; Naomi Solomon of Spring Hill, FL. ARRANGEMENTS BY JAMES A.
