Served as S.C. 1st Congressional District representative. Scarborough received his LIMRA International, Inc., Leadership Institute fellow in 1996. Beginning his career in life insurance in 1973, he has served in various field and home office positions including president and CEO of Atlantic Coast Life Insurance Co. and president of the Enston Home Foundation. He supported his alma mater by serving the Department of Business Advisory Board (1996) and the School of Business, Board of Directors (2002-2003).
