Richard Glenn Lockwood, of Easton, KS, died Nov. 11, 2020. Son of Gilbert and Carolyn Lockwood. Born on 1 August 1956 in Riverside, California and died at home 11 November 2020. He was preceded in death by his parents and by his sister, Cathryn. He is survived by his wife, Jackie and three sons, Ben (wife Danielle), Matt and Josh (wife Linda) and three grandchildren, Miles, Gretchen, and Eowyn. Rick was a proud member of the United States Army, retiring at the rank of Lt Col with 22 years of service and an additional 19 years of service as a civil servant. He was also an active member of the Ft Leavenworth Boy Scout Troop 66. Serving as Scout Master for 17 years and presided over 100 young men reaching the rank of Eagle Scout. Most of all Rick loved his family and was a devoted father, grandfather, and husband. He loved Christmas in Iowa with his extended family and quiet evenings at home with Jackie. He will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be Sunday, November 22, 2020 at Davis Funeral Chapel from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. Funeral service will be held on Monday, November 23, 2020 at 12:00 P.M. (noon) at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Graveside service will follow at Leavenworth National Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Davis Funeral Chapel.
